# Importing CXD Into MetaMask

In order to import the CXD token into MetaMask, and view your curent available CXD token balance, users must perform the following steps.

1. Download the [MetaMask browser extension. ](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/metamask/nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn?hl=en)
2. Connect to the [Cortexdao.io](https://cortexdao.io/) homepage.
3. Log in to MetaMask browser extension (ensuring you have the Ethereum Mainnet network selected). 
4. Scroll down to, and select 'Import Tokens'.
5. Select 'Custom Token'. 
6. In the 'Token Contract Address' field, enter the following address: 0x5A56Da75c50aA2733F5Fa9A2442AaEfcBc60B2e6
